Bye AuPair - Hi Brazil

Inclusive, me chamava de mãe, as vezes.

August 14th, 2012. I woke up, and I couldn't believe that would be my LAST day as an AuPair. Last day with the Host Family. The day I would have to say goodbye to the little kids :(
During the day, while I was taking care of them and teaching everything to the new AuPair, I was thinkin about the nights I couldn't sleep, the days I prayed and asked God for help and I couldn't wait for the end of the program. Is not easy to be an AuPair. Through the program we become more independent and mature. I have nothing to complain about. I had very bad experiences during the year. However, I was very happy, I met the love of my life, made lots of friends and I had the chance to travel a lot.
It was an easy day. The kids were saying goodbye to me all the time and taking pictures. But, at the same time they were excited with the new AuPair.
At the end of the day, their parents went back home. They brought a delicious strawberry cake, they gave me a Thank You card, thanking me for all my help and saying they would miss me. Also, they gave me this beautiful necklace with a heart. Very pretty.
My boyfriend picked me up and then was time to say goodbye to the kids. It broke my heart when the 2 year old baby, told his mom: "Mommy, I will miss Nathalia". That was the cutest thing I've ever seen. He was very attached to me. He used to call me mommy, sometimes. The other 4 kids gave me hugs and kisses and said they were excited for me to visit in the future.
After the farewell moment, I went back to Evan apartment.
For 7 days, I was relaxing and packing little by little...
My trip to Brazil would be on the next Tuesday, 21st.

On the next post I will write about the CRAZY 24 hours trip to Brazil...
